Asthma Clinic
In addition to regular visits to their own doctor, we recommend an annual
visit to the asthma clinic for all asthma sufferers. The clinic is run
by the practice nurse and provides a check-up and special advice on
the management of asthma.
Diabetes Clinic
In addition to regular checks with their own doctor, we recommend an
annual visit to the diabetes clinic for all patients with diabetes mellitus,
whether controlled by insulin, tablets or diet alone. At the clinic
important health checks are undertaken and special advice given.
Flu Vaccination
Vaccination against influenza is a wise precaution for those aged over
65 years and for those with chronic conditions. There is always a brisk
demand for this vaccine, which we try to keep in stock from October
throughout the winter, supplies permitting.
Minor Injuries Unit
The Minor Injuries Unit at Sevenoaks Hospital is a walk-in service.
It should be used by patients who have sustained fractures, sprains,
bites, stings, cuts, abrasions, eye injuries, infected wounds, foreign
bodies in eyes

Non-NHS Services
Some services such as private medical certificates and examinations
for fitness to drive are not covered by the NHS. A list of fees recommended
